ABC+ is a youth group specifically for special needs teenagers from aged 11 upwards. A fun teenage atmosphere is created by providing games consoles (PS/3, Wii), football table, snooker and group activities run by experienced parents and volunteers.

If you have been struggling to find a youth group in Stockport that fails to fit your particular special needs, then feel free to meet like-minded friends where you are guaranteed to find friends and have lots of FUN!

Parents/Carers will need to accompany their teenagers but there will be a separate room for parents and carers to relax.

We meet between 7pm and 8:45pm on the following dates

Funding & Donations

The ABC Group is funded entirely from donations. In particular we would like to thank the following for their continued support

Stockport Lamplighter Rotary

The Stockport Lamplighter Rotary have been funding the ABC group for many years thanks to the regular donations and events. Without the Stockport Lamplighter Rotary many of our events would not be possible. In the past year this has subsidised a trip to the Lowry for a Christmas play, Pizza Hut trip for the older ABC+ members, the brilliant PROM night in July as well as art equipment, computer consoles and games.

In particular

The annual Swimathon in March. The ABC Group always submits two teams the a gruelling hour of swimming, a fantastic event which we love supporting The Father Christmas street collections in December. A number of our volunteers have assisted Father Christmas and it is a joyous occasion seeing how excited the local children are when they see Father Christmas Open Gardens We have been very fortunate to have been one of the local groups benefitting from this event. We very much appreciate everyone taking part
